Selenite Crystals also known as satin spar or gypsum commonly occur as tabular, reticular, and columnar crystals. The most common colour of selenite is the pearly white colour with its iridescent shine. They also come in grey, brown, beige, orange, pink, yellow, light red, and green.

Selenite are very soft minerals with the hardness of 2 on MOHS scale, which makes it very easy to work with. One of my favourites as you don’t need any commercial lapidary machines, just your standard house hold tools.
