Geology :
Llanite is a porphyritic rhyolite with distinctive phenocrysts of blue quartz (a rare quartz colour) and perthitic feldspar (light grayish-orangish). The brown, fine-grained groundmass consists of very small quartz, feldspar, and biotite mica crystals.
