Ammonite Fossil 

Now extinct, the ammonite mollusc was a shelled cephalopod. It appeared in a coiled, spiral external shell similar to that of the modern nautilus. These creatures lived in a habitat capable of creating megalith animals partially due to the heightened oxygen levels within Earth’s atmosphere.

The extinction of ammonites coincided with the extinction of dinosaurs, during the Cretaceous Period 66 million years ago.

Mackerel Shark Tooth

Mackerel Sharks otherwise known as Otodus Obliquus swam the deep seas 60 to 80 million years ago. This creature is thought to be at the heart of the White shark family.
